The DK9800 Arcus is NOT a general diamond tester.
It must be used after confirming the stone is a lab-grown diamond using:
- DK10100 Veritas
- DK10200 ARETE
- DK10300 APEX
Once confirmed as a lab diamond, the DK9800 is used to separate CVD vs HPHT.
It is NOT designed to test:
- Natural diamonds
- Cubic zirconia (CZ)
- Glass or simulants
Note: The DK9800 Arcus Lab identifies most CVD and HPHT lab-grown diamonds, but exceptions may occur. HPHT-treated CVD (e.g., color-enhanced) may register as HPHT.
