Please note that diamond testers only use thermos conductivity. Because of this, they are not able to distinguish natural diamonds from manmade diamonds such as moissanite or CVD. To do so, you’ll need a multi-tester that uses a thermoelectrical probe. These so-called diamond moissanite testers are able to differentiate between diamond, moissanite, CZ, and other sorts of gems.
